Part 1 - Choose & Custom

Choose the Right Bronze Fountain for Your Space

The right fountain should complement your surroundings—not simply fill a space. Consider these details when comparing designs.

Size & Proportion

Choose a fountain height and width that complement your garden, courtyard, or entrance. If you have an existing basin, share its dimensions and photos so we can help assess the sculpture’s fit and allow enough space for water splash.

Style & Setting

Tiered fountains and classical figures suit formal landscapes, while children, animals, and sea-inspired sculptures create a different character. Choose a design that works with the surrounding architecture and planting.

Color & Patina

Warm brown, darker bronze, and green patina create different visual effects. Share photographs of your space or a finish reference to help us recommend a complementary color.

Water Flow & Outlets

Cascading tiers, individual spouts, and multiple water jets each produce a different effect. Consider where the water emerges, its direction, the desired sound, and how much splash the basin can accommodate.

Budget & Production Option

Available stock, existing models, and newly sculpted custom designs have different cost and timing implications. Set a budget for the fountain and allow separately for freight, a local pump, and any basin or site work.

Custom Bronze Fountains: From Sculpture to Water Flow

Start with an existing design or bring us your own reference images. We can discuss changes to the fountain's size, sculptural composition, patina, and water outlets to suit your project.

Size & Design

Adjust the overall scale or discuss changes to figures, animals, tiers, and decorative elements.

Patina & Color

Choose a finish that complements your landscape, architecture, and preferred visual effect.

Water Outlets & Flow

Discuss the location and arrangement of spouts or cascading elements. The final water effect also depends on the basin, plumbing, and locally selected pump.

Lighting Decor

Lighting can highlight sculpture details and moving water after dark. Share your nighttime goals so lighting positions can be considered during planning.

Lost-Wax Casting: Preserving Every Sculptural Detail

A high-quality bronze fountain begins with careful sculpting and depends on attention at every stage of production. Our artists work to carry the character of the original model through to the finished bronze.

Step 01

Sculpting the Clay Model

The clay model establishes the expression, anatomy, and movement of the sculpture. Our artists refine the eyes, facial features, hair, clothing folds, and visible anatomical forms. For animal and winged designs, attention extends to muscles, posture, feathers, and wing structure.

Step 02

Silicone Moulds & Wax Refinement

Silicone moulds capture the model's surface details for the wax reproduction. The wax is then checked and refined before casting, with attention to delicate textures, contours, and features that need to remain clearly defined in bronze.

Step 03

Casting, Chasing & Controlled Polishing

After lost-wax casting, the bronze sections are assembled, and the joints are carefully worked. Hand chasing restores texture and detail around seams, while controlled polishing smooths the required areas without flattening hair, feathers, or fabric folds.

Step 04

Layered Patina & Surface Finishing

Our hot-patina process uses heat and patination solutions to develop rich, layered color on the bronze surface. Rather than a flat painted appearance, the finish brings out the sculpture's depth and character.

Part 3 - FAQs & Quote

FAQs

Is a bronze fountain easy to install, and do you provide installation support?

Smaller fountains are usually straightforward to set up, while large multi-section designs may need lifting equipment and a professional installer. We provide installation videos and guidance, and can arrange a nearby partner team or on-site installation service where available.

Is the water pump included?

No, the pump is not included and should be purchased locally. We can provide the fountain's water outlet and connection details to help you choose a suitable pump.

Can a bronze fountain stay outdoors for many years?

Yes, bronze is a classic material for long-term outdoor sculpture. Over time, the patina develops more naturally and gives the fountain a richer, more timeless character.

Do you ship worldwide, and which shipping method do you use?

Yes, we ship worldwide. Fountains are typically sent by sea in shared containers (LCL) or full containers (FCL), depending on the size of the shipment.

How is the fountain packed?

Each fountain is packed in a sturdy wooden crate, with thick soft foam and sponge protecting it inside. This helps guard the bronze surface and details during transport.

How long do production and delivery take?

Production usually takes 1–2 months, and special custom projects typically take 2–3 months or longer. Shipping generally takes 1–2 months, depending on the distance to your destination.

Is shipping insurance included, and what if my fountain arrives damaged?

Yes, shipping insurance is included for added protection. If you find any damage on arrival, take photos and contact us promptly so we can help you handle the claim.

How should I clean and maintain the fountain?

Wipe the surface gently with a soft cloth and clean water, and avoid abrasive tools or harsh chemicals. Keep the basin and pump intake free of debris so the water runs smoothly.
